Adnan Ejupovic, who goes by Adi, is an assistant men's soccer coach at Oakton College with a deep history as both a player and coach for the program.
Born in Bosnia, Adi moved to Chicago at age 10 and played high school soccer at Foreman High School. He then spent two years at Oakton, where he was a key part of the team that won the program's first-ever conference titles. He finished his collegiate career at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC).
Beyond his college career, Adi was a highly decorated player for RWB Adria, where he was part of five national championship-winning teams and multiple amateur open cup titles, also participating in the U.S. Open Cup. He was a four-time regional and two-time national champion with the Illinois State Select team in 2007 and 2008, where he served as captain.
Adi's coaching career at Oakton began in 2008. He served as an assistant coach for six years until 2014 and is now back for the 2024 season, ready to share his experience and passion with the current and future teams.
He lives in Norridge with his wife, Naira, and their three children: Dalilah, Brenon, and Aksel.
