Isela joined the Oakton Athletics Department 2 years ago as the Athletics Department Assistant. She is now the Program Assistant in charge of events, intramurals, and the student-athlete leadership group. Prior to Oakton she gained experience in different areas of sport including coaching tiny tot soccer, working for the Chicago White Sox, the Berwyn Park District, as well as for the ISU Athletic and Recreation Department in the capacity of game day intern and sports monitor. As the monitor, she provided administrative support to the university’s 29 club and 12 intramural sports. She received a Bachelor’s in Recreation Management at Illinois State University and was a participant and President of ISU’s Unlimited dance club team.
