Oakton College

A Henderson, Kentucky native, Coach Walker has been the golf coach at Oakton since 2007. In that time frame, the program has had continued success in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference, Region IV and has multiple appearances at the National tournament.

Some highlights during Coach Walker's tenure include multiple players being named All-Conference, All-Region and / or Conference Medalist. In the fall of 2019, Sophomore Nzelu Maitha became the first Oakton Community College golfer to win Region IV Tournament Medalist. Also, the Oakton Golf team were named NJCAA Academic All-Americans for the school year 2019-2020 ( first time ).

Under Coach Walker, Oakton golfers have moved on to various colleges to finish out their careers and continued academic field of study, such as North Park, Aurora University, Missouri Valley College, Central Methodist College, to name a few.
